On Saturday night, at the Urbanworld Film Festival in New York, where Ava DuVernay screened about 5 minutes of her upcoming first studio project, "Selma," the director also participated in a panel conversation about the film, with its star, David Oyelowo, who plays Martin Luther King Jr in the film.
The panel, introduced by filmmaker Shola Lynch ("Shirley Chisholm: Unbought and Unbossed" and "Free Angela and All Political Prisoners"), is very interesting, and informative, and might whet your appetite for what’s to come, when the film opens in theaters later this year.
