  • TV Series based on ‘Rush Hour’ Movie Franchise in the Works. Who Would You Cast?

Maybe encouraged by the attempts to turn the "Beverly Hills Cop" movie franchise into an hourly TV drama series, director Brett Ratner is teaming up with the makers of "Cougar Town" for a new one-hour TV comedy series that will be based on the "Rush Hour" films he directed, starring Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan.

Expected to follow a similar story, style and structure as the films, the TV series will follow the misadventures of a straight-laced Hong Kong cop (played by Jackie Chan in the movies) and his not-so straight-laced black LAPD officer (originally portrayed by Chris Tucker).

No ETA, nor casting announcements yet, or what…
