Filmmaker Damon Colquhoun says that he has a “mission." And that mission is to “push black films beyond the clichés and stereotypes. Black people deserve ambitious visions and the rest of the world deserves to share in our unique experiences – beyond films about slavery, and biopics; beyond lowbrow comedies and upper middle-class romances (all of which I love, but…)."
So, to that end, he is currently developing his latest project, which he calls an “urban fantasy short” called "Pixie Dust."
