On Monday this week, VH1 premiered the first episode of its latest controversial show, "Sorority Sisters," created and produced by Mona Scott-Young, who is responsible for the reality shows "Love and Hip-Hop," "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" and "Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood" (There are so many snide remarks I could make right now, but I won’t).
The show follows the lives of a group of nine sorority sisters from several historical black sororities – Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho – though there is some debate if all of them are actually are what they claim to be.
