The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has extended a record-breaking 322 invitations for membership.
No doubt that after last year’s dust-up over the lack of Academy Award nominations for "Selma" and the dearth of black nominees in general, the organization and president Cheryl Boone Isaacs are still looking to increase diversity among the ranks.
