A few days after she made history, becoming the first African American woman to be named Principal Dancer with the American Ballet Theater, Misty Copeland is taking her ballerina skills to Broadway this summer, making her debut, joining the cast of the musical, “On the Town” – but only for a 2-week run that will begin on August 25.
