    We’ve got a lot to get through, so let’s get going…

    The biggest surprise (or rather two biggest surprises) of the holiday season was the huge Christmas Day opening for both Universal’s "Unbroken," directed by who I like to call St. Angelina Who Died for Our Sins (from the way people just fawn all over her), and the Disney film version of the Stephen Sondheim Broadway musical, "Into The Woods."

    Both films opened with over $15 million each, and had a weekend total of $47.3 million for "Unbroken," and $46 million for "Woods."
