  • ADHD and the Professional Child Actor

    We all know about the hardships and negatives associated with an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis, but did you know all the positive traits that make these kids wonderful candidates for the entertainment industry?     I’m an adult with the ADHD trait, but I refuse to call it a disorder. I don’t see myself any differently than anyone else. If anything, I feel it makes me a more interesting person. I prefer to refer to myself as delightfully quirky! I am not an expert on children with ADHD, but in my humble opinion and having walked the walk, I think these kids have wonderful opportunities to shine in show business.
