Nigerians have been told to look up to God and channel all their grievances to Him. They were also advised to be humble and learn from exemplary persons, while applying God’s words in all aspects of their lives.
The Overseer and Senior Pastor of God’s First Ministries (Illumination Assembly), Bishop Isaac Idahosa, made the call at his 51st birthday ceremony held in Lagos. The triple celebration, which included the birthday party, book launch and unveiling of the Bishop Isaac Idahosa Foundation, attracted top dignitaries, politicians, Nollywood stars, among others.
Idahosa, who also spoke to The Guardian on the state of the nation, said corruption is prevalent in the society and President Muhammadu Buhari is on the right track. He said people should criticise constructively and objectively.
The books launched at the event include: Manuals for Singles, Businesses, manual for Breakthrough, manual for Governmental Organizations, and prayers that move mountains.
According to the pastor, “God has given him ample time to affect the society, hence the launch of Bishop Isaac Idahosa Foundation, which is a platform for giving back to the society, especially widows and orphans.”
Meanwhile, 39 widows from Wazobia Widows Foundation and Sought-after Orphanages, Owode Lagbansan benefited from the foundation’s largesse.
